Exploring Art Classes by Susan Brandt

Do you have a homeschooling student who has a passion for art? Are you looking for an opportunity to enhance your student's gifts? Register here for The Elements of Art, a four week class taught by local educator, artist, and business owner Susan Brandt. Each week, students from 2nd-8th grade will be introduced to a different artist and painting along with lines and shapes, color theory, proportions and dimensions, and abstract art. Techniques and skills related to watercolor and oil pastels will be taught, and each week students will complete an art project. Classes begin Thursday, April 7th from 3:30-5:00 and will continue each Thursday through April 28th at Inside Out Markets. Cost is $125. Students are responsible for their own supplies detailed on the supply list.
