Painting Workshop with Lorrie Fowler

Have you been looking for a unique and fun way to be creative? Look no further, my friend! You don’t need to have any artistic experience, and if you’ve said the words “I don’t have a creative bone in my body,” then you’re in the right place! 

This is your invitation for you and your friends to join me for a Fluid Painting Experience at Southwater Manor! You’ll learn how to mix fluid (or “pour”) paints, choose your colors, and learn several techniques to try at the experience! Set up, clean up, and all materials, including 2 8”x10” canvases are included. I’ll be with you every step of the way as you discover a new way to be creative, have a blast with your friends, and create 2 original paintings you’ll be proud of.

Event Details:

• No prior painting or creative experience required.

• Guidance and assistance will be provided by professional artist, Lorrie Fowler.

• All materials included.

• You’ll learn how to mix paints, prepare a canvas, and multiple fluid painting techniques.

• You keep your 2 8”x10” original paintings on canvas!

• Cost is $75 per person and includes coffee and charcuterie for the evening.

Lorrie, her husband Isaac, and their boys have lived in TN for 5 years. Both being full time artists, art and creativity are a big part of their family culture! 

The inspiration for Lorrie’s art flows from a place of fun and joy, and also is a space where she enjoys spending time with the Lord and reflecting on facets of His character. She creates abstract fluid acrylic paintings on canvas, as well as on jewelry. Liquid motion, frozen in time, her art encompasses movement, detail, and many say they feel peaceful when they view it. 

Teaching has always been a passion of Lorrie’s and her mission is to spark creativity in others. She wants everyone to know that they are designed to be creative and fluid art is a great way to tap into that creativity! Join her for the Fluid Painting Experience at South Water Manor for a time of engaging and fun creativity!
